Recto Notes is perfect for planning your trip. On the trip you want to enjoy the time spent at the location, not with searching for a place to eat or want to find out you had buy tickets in advance.
Where Recto comes in
In Recto a note can hold all PDF's with information, and all links that you want to hold close from your research, along with the to do list to prepare your trip at best.
Every trip comes with some tasks that need to be done, some research on the destination, the places to stay the night, and what to do while being there.
How links are stored
Links are stored in Recto as a small cards with a preview of the website as you see here below. They will be there and distinct enough to see instantly which link you are reaching for.
PDFs are stored the same way. Easy to open from the same note.
The data stays truly yours, as Recto makes use of your Apple ID and connected Cloud to store data and sync across devices.
Where the Task center comes in
The task center is the nifty place in Recto which will prevent from tasks falling through the cracks. This place will present you all tasks that are collected in every note in Recto. Each date that is given a date will be sorted on date. All others will become visible in the complete lists of tasks.
So even when you are busy at work (because for a trip it can be even busier than normal) your tasks to make the best of the trip will appear for you when you need them to.
Note export
As Recto is build as being your pure personal space with little room to share, but notes can be shared, in the form of PDFs
Each note comes with a PDF export, with multiple functions to create the perfect PDF for your trip, do your plans require a table of contents, just include it, even images can be given a caption that is only visible in the PDF export. All your links will stay the same visually and functional if the PDF is viewed digitally, even added PDFs to your notes can be included in the export as an appendix to the note.
In that way you can get everyone up-to-date or up to speed, whatever you need from them.
